Testimonials

What People are Saying

I am grateful for the opportunities that The Destiny House and Ms. April have shed light on. I would not have known of all the scholarships available without Ms. April’s monthly scholarship bulletins.”

Dewan Richardson

Germantown High School, Class of 2020

“I have been a part of The Destiny House for the last four years. My mentor April Terrell has helped me tremendously since the start of my freshman year. She prepared me with ACT prep and as I reached my last two years, she has prepared me for college applications, scholarships, FAFSA, interviews and more. With the help of The Destiny house I have received private scholarships which includes: The Trey Rich Memorial Scholarship and the Maggie McDowell Delta Scholarship. Not only did April Terrell and The Destiny House help me get accepted in over 50 universities, but I also accumulated over $1,000,000 in scholarships. The program will help you excel through high school and help with the college process.”

Jalyn Rodgers

Memphis Central High School, Class of 2020

“April has truly been a blessing since the very beginning. What schools fail to explain and teach us about the college process April knows how to break it down to us. The Destiny House and April know how to connect to schools and students and find resources for us. On top of that, April lets us know about scholarships we can apply for every month! Without her I do not know where I would be within my college process.”
